Jordan 8 Retro "Aqua" (2025)
The Air Jordan 8 "Aqua" is one of the most storied colorways in Jordan Brand history. Originally debuted in 1993, it was designed by Tinker Hatfield as the signature shoe for Michael Jordan's 1992–93 season — the year he won his third consecutive NBA championship. Jordan wore this exact colorway during the 1993 NBA All-Star Game, where he scored 30 points, cementing the shoe's place in sneaker lore. The colorway was subsequently retroed in 2007 and 2015 before this 2025 reissue.
The 2025 retro stays faithful to the original 1993 makeup. The upper is constructed from black nubuck with Iron Grey suede overlays, restoring the two-tone color blocking that was altered in the 2007 retro. Bright Concord and Aquatone accents appear on the sculpted midsole in an abstract brushstroke pattern, while the chenille tongue patch is split into teal and purple sections with an orange border and red Jumpman. Black cross-straps with Jordan's number 23 stitched in wrap the midfoot for structure and lockdown. An inner bootie construction and full-length Nike Air cushioning round out the performance-oriented build. The outsole finishes in classic black rubber with additional pops of color.
Style code 305381-006. Released July 19, 2025.
