The Air Jordan 6 Retro SP "Reflections of a Champion" was released on June 8, 2019 as part of a three-shoe Jordan Brand pack honoring Michael Jordan's first three-peat championship run with the Chicago Bulls from 1991 to 1993. Each silhouette in the pack — the AJ6, AJ7, and AJ8 — represented one of those three title seasons, with the Air Jordan 6 standing in for MJ's first NBA Championship in 1991.

This AJ6 channels the DNA of the iconic "Infrared" colorway MJ wore on court that year, but swaps the traditional black upper for a full 3M reflective treatment across the entire upper. Infrared and black accents appear on the mudguard, sidewalls, and Jumpman logos to honor the original palette. Underfoot, the shoe retains its heritage details: a visible Air unit in the heel, a clean black midsole, and a translucent icy rubber outsole. "Nike Air" branding is embroidered on the heel tabs, completing the retro look.

The all-3M upper treatment places this release alongside a short list of Jordan retros to receive the full reflective makeover — a bold design choice that made the "Reflections of a Champion" pack one of the most talked-about Jordan collections of 2019.
