This colorway originates from a 1999 Jordan salesman sample catalogue — a near-mythic document that circulated for years before this GS-exclusive silhouette marked the AJ6's 35th anniversary with its first-ever wide release.

True to its "Reverse Infrared" nickname, the design flips the familiar color balance: a premium black nubuck upper anchors the look, while Light Crimson accents are shifted to the midsole and heel branding rather than their traditional placement. An icy-tinted outsole, crimson lace lock, lace sheath, and heel tab echo the OG details, while a salesman sample tag and "Not For Resale" stamp on the inner collar nod directly to the shoe's archival origins. A visible Air unit in the heel completes the classic AJ6 construction.

Details

Style Code: IQ1275-001

Colorway: Black / Light Crimson

Release Date: February 14, 2026

Grade School (GS) sizing

Premium nubuck upper with perforated panels

Reversed Infrared midsole accents — "Reverse Infrared" colorway

Light Crimson Nike Air branding on heel

Salesman sample tag and "Not For Resale" inner collar stamp

Visible Air cushioning unit in heel

Icy-tinted rubber outsole
