The Air Jordan 6 Retro Infrared Salesman brings one of sneaker collecting's longest-running myths to life. Released on February 14, 2026 as part of the Air Jordan 6's 35th anniversary celebration, this colorway traces its roots to a late-1990s sales catalog sample — a "Reverse Infrared" makeup that appeared briefly before the silhouette's first retro run and never made it to retail. For the first time ever, that concept reached a general release.

The design flips the color blocking of the classic Black/Infrared AJ6: Light Crimson extends across the midsole where black traditionally dominated, and the Nike Air heel branding switches to red. The upper is constructed in black nubuck with the signature Jordan 6 cutout detailing. Jordan Brand also refined the shoe's build — reportedly the first non-collaborative AJ6 to feature the updated construction — and matched the Infrared shade by referencing both the original 1991 pairs and the 2000 retro release. Nods to the sneaker's sample heritage are woven into every detail.
