Jordan 4 Retro Toro Bravo (2026) — FQ8138-600
The Air Jordan 4 Retro "Toro Bravo" marks the first-ever retro of one of the most celebrated non-OG colorways in the AJ4 archive. Originally released in July 2013, the colorway earned immediate fanfare for its all-in approach to Fire Red nubuck across nearly every surface of the upper — a level of tonal commitment rare in the Jordan 4 catalog. The 2026 retro stayed faithful to that palette, bringing back the same Fire Red/White-Black-Cement Grey color scheme thirteen years after its debut.
The upper is built from red nubuck, anchored by black TPU support wings, black lace underlays, and a black Jumpman heel tab. Cement Grey appears on the lace cages, tongue label, and outsole, grounding the design in classic Jordan 4 language. Beneath the shoe, a white midsole delivers contrast, with visible Nike Air cushioning in the heel — true to Tinker Hatfield's original 1989 construction. The "Toro Bravo" name loosely translates to "brave bull," a nod to the colorway's lineage tracing back to the red-and-black palette that began with the Air Jordan 5 Raging Bull Pack in 2009.
The 2026 retro carries Jumpman branding on the heel tab — consistent with the 2013 release — and features the slimmer modern Jordan 4 shape, updated from the bulkier 2013 tooling. This release also expanded into full-family sizing for the first time, a first for the Toro Bravo colorway.
