The Air Jordan 4 Retro SE Craft 'Photon Dust' is a premium rework of Tinker Hatfield's original 1989 Air Jordan 4 design, released on February 11, 2023. The SE Craft treatment elevates the classic silhouette through upgraded material choices across the entire upper, resulting in a muted, tonal aesthetic built around the Photon Dust colorway.

Light grey leather forms the base of the upper, complemented by color-matched tonal suede on the collar and forefoot overlay. Most notably, the Air Jordan 4's signature plastic netting on the quarter panels has been replaced with gridded suede, and the support wings are constructed from cracked leather — hallmarks of the Craft series' artisan-forward approach. Pale Vanilla accents appear on the molded eyelets and Jumpman branding at the tongue and heel, while an off-white polyurethane midsole with a visible Air-sole unit in the heel rounds out the build.
