Released in May 2026 around Father's Day, the Air Jordan 3 Retro OG "World's Best Dad" draws its inspiration from one of the most emotional moments in Michael Jordan's career: the 1996 NBA Championship win — his first title after returning to basketball, and one forever linked to the memory of his father. Rather than the standard elephant print, the toe and heel overlays are reimagined as a jacquard pattern referencing the carpet from the Chicago Stadium locker room on that championship night.

The upper is built on a premium leather base in Sail, with Bulls-red carried through on the outsole and the Jumpman tongue logo. Black lands on the lace panel, ankle collar, top of the tongue, and sockliner, while Pale Ivory and Palomino tones round out the palette for a warm, slightly vintage feel. Embroidered "World's Best" detailing on the inner tongue adds a final storytelling touch.
