The Air Jordan 3 Retro White Cement Reimagined is part of Jordan Brand's ongoing "Reimagined" series, released on March 11, 2023, to mark the 35th anniversary of the original 1988 White Cement colorway. Designed by Tinker Hatfield — the first of his many Air Jordan collaborations — the AJ3 silhouette introduced the visible Air unit, the Jumpman logo, and the now-iconic elephant print to basketball footwear, making it one of the most historically significant sneaker designs ever produced.

Built to 1988 OG specs, the 2023 Reimagined features a premium white tumbled leather upper with cement-grey elephant print overlays on the toe and heel, a higher-cut ankle collar faithful to the original, and a red Jumpman on the tongue. The aged aesthetic is central to the concept: yellowed eyelets, midsole, and heel tab evoke a vintage "found in a closet" look, while the restored "Nike Air" branding on the heel counter — an element long absent from standard retros — gives this release particular collector significance. Fire Red accents appear on the lace loops, insole, and Jumpman logo, completing the Summit White/Fire Red/Black/Cement Grey colorway. Packaging was intentionally distressed to reinforce the vintage narrative.
