Jordan 3 Retro White Cement Reimagined (DN3707-100)
The Air Jordan 3 "White Cement Reimagined" is part of Jordan Brand's ongoing Reimagined series, released in 2023 to mark the 35th anniversary of the original 1988 debut. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the AJ3 was a landmark silhouette — the first Jordan to feature a visible Air unit, the Jumpman logo, and the now-iconic elephant print. The White Cement colorway carries added cultural weight as the shoe Michael Jordan wore during his legendary free-throw-line dunk at the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Rather than a standard retro, the 2023 Reimagined edition was built to true OG '88 specifications. Key period-accurate details include a higher ankle collar profile, elephant print overlays with thinner lines referencing the original tooling, intentionally pre-yellowed midsoles for a vintage look, and "Nike Air" heel branding in place of the Jumpman — a detail longtime Jordan collectors tend to favor. Fire Red accents appear on the tongue branding, eyelets, and sole Nike spell-outs, while the official colorway reads Summit White / Fire Red / Black / Cement Grey. Special OG-style packaging with a retro pamphlet accompanied the release.
