Jordan 3 Retro "Desert Elephant" (CT8532-008) — Summer 2022

The Air Jordan 3 Retro "Desert Elephant" is a Summer 2022 release from Jordan Brand that reinterprets the silhouette's classic "Black Cement" color-blocking through an earthy, aged lens. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and originally introduced in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 was the first signature Jordan model to feature visible Air cushioning and the now-iconic elephant print — details that remain central to this colorway.

The upper is built from black tumbled leather with signature elephant-print overlays rendered in a natural tan finish, a deliberate update over the grey tones found on the "Black Cement." Rush Orange replaces traditional Red on the lower eyelets and Jumpman tongue embroidery, while Fossil Stone suede appears on the tongue, eyestays, and ankle collar to give the shoe a distinctly weathered, retro character. A branded insole features a formula patch nodding to the creation of the Jordan 3. The build is completed by a Sail white polyurethane midsole with a visible Air-sole unit in the heel and a Fossil Stone rubber outsole.
