The Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Blueberry' is a Holiday 2024 release from Jordan Brand built on the same classic color-blocking architecture as the original 'Cherry' Air Jordan 12. Rather than a new design, it delivers a near one-to-one palette swap — swapping the 'Cherry' colorway's red for Game Royal blue across the textured mudguard overlays and key branding elements, all set against a crisp white tumbled leather upper.

The AJ12 silhouette itself debuted in 1996, designed by Tinker Hatfield with a ribbed upper construction inspired by the Japanese Rising Sun Flag. The 'Blueberry' retains all the hallmarks of that original build: faux reptilian texture on the mudguard, silver metal eyelets, black fabric inner lining, black detailing on the tongue and heel tab, white laces, and a white midsole finished with a Game Royal rubber outsole. The 'Blueberry' nickname follows naturally from the fruit-themed convention established by the 'Cherry' colorway.

Released December 18, 2024, the 'Blueberry' served as the final mainline Jordan Brand release of the year, capping a strong run of AJ12 drops that also included the 'Phantom' and 'Baron' colorways — part of Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary celebration.
