Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection — Series 2 (2026)

Part of Pokémon's 30th Anniversary celebration, the First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 launched on June 19, 2026, as the follow-up to the sell-out Series 1. Where Series 1 spotlighted Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola, Series 2 hands the spotlight to the starter trios of Johto, Unova, and Galar — nine Pokémon in total: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile; Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott; and Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

The defining feature of each collection is a special promo booster pack containing 3 of the 9 Illustration Rare–style promo cards, all drawn from the same region. Each card renders its starter in a soft, painterly full-art style, set against iconic locations and items from that generation. A clever design detail ties each region together: within each trio, the three cards' backgrounds form a single continuous panoramic scene. Two additional Pokémon TCG booster packs and a region-themed sticker sheet round out the contents.
