Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box (2026)

The Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes expansion launched on January 30, 2026, as a special set within the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet era, drawing heavily from the Japanese High Class Pack: MEGA Dream ex. The set spans over 290 cards and marks the Pokémon TCG debut of Mega Dragonite ex — first teased at the 2025 Pokémon World Championships closing ceremony — alongside Trainer's Pokémon and characters introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Booster packs for this expansion are exclusive to specialty products; no standalone booster boxes exist for this set.

The Elite Trainer Box arrived February 20, 2026, and is highlighted by a full-art foil illustration rare-style promo card featuring N's Zekrom — an exclusive to this product configuration. The set also introduces the brand-new Mega Attack Rare rarity, distinguished by attack names rendered in Japanese katakana, and features a new Mirror Holofoil Energy pattern appearing on select cards. With 13 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, 6 Tera Pokémon ex, over 30 Trainer cards, and more than 75 full-art cards, Ascended Heroes is one of the most content-dense special sets in the modern TCG era.
