The Jordan 5 Retro Awake NY Arctic Pink is a 2025 collaboration between Jordan Brand and Angelo Baque's New York-based streetwear label, Awake NY. The Arctic Pink colorway draws a direct line to the original 1990 "Fire Red" Air Jordan 5, replacing the classic white leather upper with a rosy pink finish while preserving the heritage color cues — red sock liner, black midsole, and Metallic Silver reflective tongue — of Tinker Hatfield's fighter jet-inspired design. The colorway choice also quietly nods to the WWII warplane palette that inspired the AJ5's original silhouette.

Awake NY's co-branding is woven into the shoe's most iconic structural details: the side-panel netting features a cut-out "A" logo in place of the standard mesh window, "NY" is embroidered on the lateral heel of the right shoe where "23" traditionally appears, and a hybrid Jumpman/Awake wordmark runs across the oversized reflective tongue. The black midsole carries the signature shark-tooth graphics, and the logo lock-up reappears on the translucent icy outsole underfoot. Two sets of laces — white and red — are included alongside an Awake Nike hangtag, allowing for a customized finish. This Arctic Pink colorway released on August 17, 2025, as one of two colorways in the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 collection, and was limited to 7,000 pairs.
