Jordan 11 Retro Gamma Blue (2025) – Holiday Icon Returns

The Air Jordan 11 Retro "Gamma Blue" made its first appearance on December 21, 2013, and quickly became one of the most celebrated Holiday Jordan 11 releases ever produced. It was notably the first all-black Air Jordan 11 colorway, setting it apart from classic predecessors like the Concord and Space Jam. The 2025 retro, released December 13, 2025, marks the first time the Gamma Blue colorway has returned since the original drop — and the first time it appears in the updated remastered construction of the Air Jordan 11 silhouette.

The upper combines black ballistic mesh with a tonal black patent leather mudguard. On the lateral heel panel, an embroidered Jumpman logo appears in Gamma Blue, while a Varsity Maize "23" accents the back pull tab. Underfoot, a black Phylon midsole houses a full-length Air-Sole cushioning unit, and the blue-tinted rubber outsole features herringbone traction pods over an exposed carbon fiber shank plate. The overall palette is restrained and intentional — Gamma Blue and Varsity Maize used as precise accent colors against an all-black base.

This release was part of Jordan Brand's broader 30th anniversary celebration of the Air Jordan 11 silhouette, designed by Tinker Hatfield.
